Alan Eugene Gooch age 57 of Birmingham, passed away on Saturday, November 24, 2018.  He is preceded in death by his Father, Ernest Lee Gooch.  He is survived by his Daughters, Samantha Nicole Gooch (Alan Waits) of Athens, Jade Lynn Gooch of Dora; Son, Brady Lee Gooch of Dora; Mother, Wilma Sue Gooch of Brookside; Sisters, Debra Sue Clark of Mt. Olive, Camille Dawn Estis (Steve) of Mt. Olive; Brothers, Ernest Lee Gooch, Jr. of Brookside, Kenneth Dwight Gooch of Brookside; Grandchild, Emma Madalynn Waits of Athens and A Host of Nieces, Nephews, Family and Friends.
Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 29 ^th at Bell Forestdale Chapel with burial to follow at Bivens Chapel Cemetery.  Visitation will be on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m.
