ROTENBERRY, ALICE ANN (Slick) 86 of Minor passed away peacefully on May 22, 2023. Mrs. Rotenberry was preceded in death by her loving husband James H. Rotenberry., Johnny and Edna Hayes (Father and Mother), Neal Hays (Brother) and Jimmy Hays (Brother). She is survived by daughter Teresa R. Sellers (Ron), who lovingly cared for her in her final days, son James A. Rotenberry (Susan), sister-in-laws Joyce Hays (Jimmy), Dot Rotenberry (Ronald) and Leta Rotenberry (Charles). Maw-Maw, as she was affectionately known, is also survived by three granddaughters, Kim R. Cleckler, Amber Rotenberry, special granddaughter Erin N. Sellers (Marleta), several great/great grandchildren and special neighbor Cora Ann Singleton. Maw-Maw loved to cook Sunday dinners that filled the table with fresh vegetables and making everyone's favorite desserts. In her final years Maw-Maw loved going out to eat on Sundays with daughter Teresa and spending time with son James Allen. Maw-Maw was fiercely independent until the end. Funeral services will be held Saturday May 27th, 2023 at 12:00 pm at Bell Forestdale Chapel with burial to follow at Oakland Cemetery (The resting place of husband James H.). Visitation will be Saturday from 11:00 to 12:00. Pastor Landon Byrd (Westmont Baptist Church), where Mrs. Rotenberry was a member, will be officiating.
