Ann Greenlee Hulsey, age 85 of Birmingham, AL passed away Thursday, September 26, 2013.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald William Hulsey, Sr. and her brother Arthur Greenlee. She is survived by her two sons, Donald William Hulsey, Jr. (Jilda) of Pleasant Grove, AL and David Denson Hulsey, Sr. (Toni) of Gardendale, AL. Five grandchildren, David Denson Hulsey, Jr. (Amber), Donald "Traye" William Hulsey, III (fiancée Molly Cosby); Mellissa Taylor (Matt); Marc Hulsey (Emily); Erica Spreng (Barron). Two great-grandchilden Gracie Hulsey and Aubrey Hulsey. Brother, Charles Greenlee, Marion, Mississippi. Visitation will be Sunday, September 29 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Bell Funeral Home Forestdale Chapel, and funeral on Monday, September 30 at 11:00 a.m. Bell Funeral Home Forestdale Chapel. Burial at Highland Memorial Gardens, Bessemer. Reverend Ron Gonia officiating.Ann grew up in Epps, Alabama and moved to Bessemer when she married. Later in life she attended Samford University Ida V. Moffett School of Nursing to receive her Nursing degree. She worked at Lloyd Nolan Hospital as a surgical nurse for many years. She was a Charter Member of Forestdale United Methodist Church where she served on various committees until it closed. After retirement she and her husband traveled in their Airstream across the country and Canada where she photographed many spectacular scenes during her journey. She and her husband were members of the Alabama Unit of the Wally Byam Caravan Club for over 20 years where she enjoyed serving as an Usherette.
