Anna Glaze Benefield, age 93 of Gardendale, Alabama passed away on Thursday, May 25, 2017. She was a longtime member of Crumly Chapel United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Harvey Benefield, infant son, Jerry Benefield, parents Newt and Maude Glaze, and brothers, James and Hubert Glaze. Anna was survived by her daughters Kathy (Robert) Elliott and Sherry (Ron) Norwood. Grandchildren, Kevin Studyvin and Lisa (Charles) Roper whom she raised and considered her own and Scott (Alison) Elliott. Four great grandchildren. Family would also like to thank sitter, Shelly Hargett for all the care and compassion she has shown over the past few years. There will be a private graveside service at Crumly Chapel Methodist Cemetery on Tuesday, May 30 ^th for family and friends.
