Arthur Gober, Jr. was born on February 27, 1944 and went to be with the Lord on March 22, 2022 in an automobile accident.   He is preceded in death by his Wife, Barbara Faye Gober; Mother, Ida Gober; Father, Arthur Gober, Sisters, Edith Beasley, Joanne Day, Jeanette Reed and Lorene Reed; Stepdaughter, Janice Cruce and Stepson, Gary Sanford.

He is survived by Daughter, Stacey Hill (Allen Hill); Twin Sister, Audrey Deschamp; Daughter, Christie Lynne Gober Tao; Granddaughter, Lexie Hill; Granddaughter, Laney Hill; Granddaughter, Allison Turner; Grandson, Gary Sanford, Jr.; Grandson, Jason Sanford; Granddaughter, Kelsee Sanford; Great Grandson, Jacob McDonald; Great Grandson, Bailey McDonald; Great Granddaughter, Karlie McCaleb; Great Granddaughter, Malorie Sanford; Great Granddaughter, Kinsley Sanford; Great Granddaughter, Hannah Sanford and Great Granddaughter, Hailey Sanford.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 28th at Bell Forestdale Chapel with burial to follow at Freewill Cemetery (West Jefferson).  Visitation will be on Sunday, March 27th beginning at 5:00 p.m.  Bro.  Crantford Hicks officiating.
