Barbara Rae Pickle, age 79 of Birmingham passed away on Friday August 15, 2014. She was a member of Bivens Chapel United Methodist Church and Retired from Parisians with 20 years of Service. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Pickle; son, Wade Pickle; sisters, Charlene "Chuck" Goode, Melba Burr Shirley, Kay Smith, Gayle Tolbert; parents, Charlie and Margaret McConnell. She is survived by her Son, Wayne Pickle (Jennifer); Three Sisters, Carolyn Gray Spruell, Sherri McCondichie (Roger); Glenda McConnell; Six Grandchildren, Trent Pickle, Brent Pickle, Clint Pickle, Jeremy Pickle, Justin Pickle, Jonathon Pickle; Three Great-Grandchildren, Kalei, Braden and Skylar; Daughter-in-law, Bobbie Pickle; Brothers-in-law, Wilbur Goode and Jake Tolbert; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 19th at Bivens Chapel United Methodist Church with burial to follow at Bivens Chapel Cemetery. Rev. Sam Frazier and Rev. Glenn Keedy will be officiating. Visitation will be on Monday, August 18th from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Bivens Chapel United Methodist Church. Bell Funeral Home Forestdale directing.
