Bohannon, Betty Jo age 80, Betty Bohannon died Thursday September 27, 2012 at U.A. B. West Hospital. Raised in Red Bay, Alabama, she met and fell in love with Omer Bohannon and when they married they moved to Adamsville, Alabama and became permanent residents. Both Betty and Omer loved the Lord and both had a love for old Southern Gospel music. They formed a group called "The Triumphants" and sang many years together. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ada and Grady Malone, her husband Omer Bohannon and son Steve Bohannon. She is survived by her sons Gary Bohannon (Pat) and Glenn Bohannon, sisters Anita Bailey and Helen Gober, brothers Robert Malone and Mark Malone. Grandchildren, Chad Bohannon (Lisa), Greg Bohannon (Elizabeth), Alan Bohannon (Shannon), Ashley Rouse (Josh) and Brandi. Great grandchildren Becca and Natalie Bohannon, Catherine and Ethan Bohannon. Visitation will be on Sunday, September 30th at Bell Forestdale Chapel form 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. with Graveside Service on Monday, Oct. 1st at 11:00 a.m. at Midway Cemetery.
