CRUCE, BETTY JOYCE PALMER age 85 of Birmingham, passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2013. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Jack Cruce; Parents, Ralph and Bet Palmer; Sisters, Dot Wright, Faye Simpson; Brothers, Gene Palmer, Clint Palmer and Lynn Palmer. She was a Member of Crumly Chapel United Methodist Church. She was a Beloved Christian Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother whose Loving and Gracious Spirit will live on in her family and the ones who knew her Best. Proverbs 31:28 - Her Children rise up and call her blessed her husband also. She is survived by Her Daughters, Susan C. Burton (Chip) and Mary Ann Hyde (Craig); Her Grandchildren, Jarrett Kitchens (Diedra), Jana Hyde Watts (Tyler), Rachael Burton Johnson (Josh), Jillian Tate Hyde, Clayton Cruce Burton, Nolan Ryan Burton, Jackson Turner Hyde and Her Great-Grandchildren, Tanner Brooke Watts, John Tyler Watts, Harper Turner Watts, Anna Cruce Johnson, Abigail Parker Johnson, Amelia Grace Johnson and her much anticipated, very soon to be born, little Chandler Tate Watts; and Many Nieces, Nephews, Other Relatives and A Host of Friends. Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Thursday, January 3rd at Bell Forestdale Chapel with burial to follow at Midway Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until time of service.
