Betty Studyvin of Sandusky, Alabama beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2016 at the age of 94. Betty preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Wayne Studyvin, and her parents, James Clarence Connell and Eula Mae Silas Connell. She is survived by her brother, John Rex Connell; daughter, Sherry Studyvin Lochamy (James); son, Terry Wayne Studyvin (Sandra); granddaughters, Adrienne Lochamy Armstrong (Robert) and Meagan Studyvin; grandsons, Troy Studyvin and Adam Lochamy (Lauren); five great grandchildren, Lucas and Mia Armstrong, Colton Studyvin, Ezra and Eliza Grace Lochamy. Betty, a lifelong resident of Sandusky, was a member of Sandusky United Methodist Church, serving in many areas including Sunday School teacher, choir member, vacation bible school teacher and Untied Methodist Women. The family would like to thank the staff of Covenant Woods Gardendale, AL for their love and compassionate care and Hope Hospice for their care during the last month of her life. The family will receive friends at Sandusky United Methodist Church, 416 St. Clair St. Birmingham, Al on Wednesday, June 15th from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. The service will be at 11:00 a.m. at the church. A graveside service will follow at Crestview Memorial Gardens. Rev. Daniel B. Hallman will be officiating. Bell Funeral Home Forestdale directing.
