Billy Joe Garner, Sr. was born May 4, 1932 and departed this life on August 1, 2024. He is preceded in death by his Father, Henry Monroe Garner; Mother, Delphia Mae Garner; Brothers, Monroe Garner and Willie Garner; Son, Michael Lynn Garner; Mother-in-law, Minnie Beatrice Woodard and Father-in-law, Lewis Foster Woodard. He is survived by his Wife, Julia Garner; Son, Joe Garner and Wife, Trisha; Granddaughters, Angel and Crystal Garner.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 24th at New River Baptist Church in Fayette Co. with burial to follow in the adjoining cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 am. until time of service on Saturday at the Church.
