Brenda Carol Granade, affectionately known as Carol, age 73, passed away peacefully on July 21, 2026.Carol is survived by her devoted husband of 55 years, Donnie Granade; her daughter, Donna Hobbs (Clint); her son, Brad Granade (Teresa); her cherished grandchildren, Griffin Phillips, Fletcher Phillips, Peyton Granade, Reagan Granade, Kennedy Granade, Andrew Hobbs, and Levi Hobbs; and her sisters, Susan King, Nancy Echols, Sandra Eastis, Elaine Tyler, Lynne Atkinson, and LaNell Parmley, along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.She was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Carlisle; her mother, Nell Carlisle; and her beloved daughter, Natalie Granade.Carol shared an extraordinary love with her husband, Donnie. Married for 55 years, they were truly inseparable, facing life’s joys together. She treasured every moment spent with her family, especially her grandchildren, who brought immeasurable joy to her life. She also enjoyed traveling with her sisters, creating countless memories filled with laughter and love. A longtime member of Bayview Baptist Church, Carol lived her faith through kindness and compassion. She never met a stranger and was known for her sweet spirit and warm smile. Even during her courageous battle with cancer, she continued to smile and inspire those around her with her strength, grace, and unwavering faith.“Jesus replied, ‘You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand.’”
