Obituary

Ms. Carolyn Rogers Miller, age 77, of Empire, AL, formerly of Graysville, died on October 9th, 2022. "Granny Milk" as she was known, was a former member of Pleasant Grove First Baptist Church for many years and a current member of Shady Grove Freewill Baptist Church. She was grounded in her faith, was selfless and gave her time generously. She was unselfish to a fault, always putting the needs of others first. She had an incredible passion for crafts and gardening. She was passionate about her grandchildren, loved her family and filled her home with warmth and kindness. To say her family and friends will miss her is an understatement.

Ms. Miller was preceded in death by her parents, William O. "Billy" Rogers and Inez Coffman Rogers, her daughter, Tracy Ann Miller, and brother, Billy Wayne Rogers.

Granny is survived by her daughter, Sandy (Jim) Parker, son, Jerry Wayne (Amber) Miller, grandchildren, Brandon (Allison) Parker, Kayla (Hans) Falkenhan, Meleah (Dustin) Brock, Jarrett Miller, HB Beattie, great-grandchildren, Keaton, Cotton, Brooks, Rayce, Bryce, Asa, Davie, Cole and Ella; and her "canning buddies" and friends Shelley Beasley and Sandra Parker.
