Cecilia D. Jackson      1929 - 2018

Cecilia D. Jackson, originally of Birmingham, AL, passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2018 in Crestview, FL. Known by her family and friends as CeCe, she was preceded in death by her husband of 24-years Dennis Gregory Jackson of Tower, MN. CeCe is survived by daughters, Patricia J. (Frank) Thomas of Huntsville, AL and Teresa K. (Ian) Worth of Crestview, FL and son Dennis G. Jackson, Jr. of Augusta, GA and grandchildren, Gregory L. Thomas, Ann Marie (Wesley) Childers, Elizabeth P. Thomas, and Bridget M. Worth.

CeCe was a 1947 graduate of Saint Paul's Catholic High School where she made life-long friends who she shared many adventures with throughout her life. She was a devout Catholic having been raised in Pratt City, AL at St. Catherine's. In her later life, she was a dedicated parishioner and religious education instructor at St. Patrick's in Adamsville, AL and Our Lady of Victory in Crestview, FL. Visitation and viewing for family and friends will be Monday, February 19th , from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at St. Patrick's in Adamsville, AL. This will be followed by a funeral Mass at 11:00 AM at St. Patrick's.  Final interment will occur immediately following Mass at Elmwood Cemetery in Birmingham, AL where she will join her husband Greg, parents Robert Emmett and Cecilia A. Duggan, and sister Helen A. Chancey.
