Jennings, Charles P. (Perk) Age 77 of Adamsville, AL and formerly of Birmingport, AL passed away on July 5, 2015. He was a longtime member of Adamsville Baptist Church where he served as Deacon, Sunday School Director and worked with many other programs of his church. Charles was ormerly a mason and was retired from Teamsters Local 612 where he had worked for over 35 years. Charles was preceded in death by his loving wife, Linda of 43 years, parents Fred and Ester Jennings of Birmingport. Survivors include his son Michael Jennings of Fort Collins, CO, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Larry and Sandra Odom of Hueytown, AL. Special niece Angela (Barry) Odom of Oak Grove, AL and special nephew Brian (Kousalya) Odom of Bowling Green, KY; also several extended family members and a host of friends. The family wishes to thank special caregivers: Cindie Brown, Savana English, Julie Burr, Brenda Sloan, Joyce Ingram and Nell Crawford. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Bell Funeral Home Forestdale Chapel, with burial at Crestview Memorial Gardens.
