Christopher (Chris) V. Clayton, age 76 of Birmingham, Al passed away at his home on May 13, 2022. He was born on October 9, 1945. He graduated Minor High School in 1964 and retired as owner of Graysville Tire Store in 2014. He was a member of Westwood Baptist Church in Forestdale, Al. He enjoyed farming, hunting, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.

Chris is survived by his wife of 56 years Janet W. Clayton, their son Kit Clayton (and Amy) of Sylvan Springs. He had two sisters, Mea Clayton and Deloris Blair (and Joe), and leaves behind multiple nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

The viewing will be held at Westwood Baptist Church on Monday, May 16 ^th at 12 pm. The service will be held at 2 pm. Chris will be laid to rest at Midway Methodist Cemetery immediately following the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Westwood Baptist Church or a charity of your choice in memory of Chris.
