It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our son, Christopher Sanders Pair on December 31, 2021 in Birmingham, Alabama. Born on May 12, 1988, Christopher is survived by his mother Elizabeth Tinney (Bobby), his father Ricky Pair (Sherri), his brother Brandon Pair (Katie), his sister Stephanie Tinney, his niece Clementine Stanton, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Christopher struggled with substance use disorder for several years, and he died of a drug overdose. Although he was committed to the need for recovery, this addiction was too much for him to overcome.

Christopher was a gentle, loving person, always willing to help others. He especially enjoyed time at the beach, extended-family camping trips, hunting, visiting with his aunts, uncles, and cousins, and watching sports events. He laughed often, with a great sense of humor, and his smile could light up the room.

We will remember Christopher for the loving and warm person he was. He will always live in our hearts and memories. Although he will be forever missed, we find comfort in the fact that Christopher is at peace and in the loving arms of God.

A Private Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
