Poss, Chrystene Bean, was born on December 4, 1922 and passed away on May 25, 2014. Our Mother was a very devoted wife and mother and also a very good Christian woman. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Alfred L. Poss. She is survived by Daughters, Gayle Boissel (George) and Sonja Martin; Grandchildren, Phil Boissel (Veronica), Michele Hunt, Michael Boissel, Angel Armstrong and Adam Cantrell; Great-Grandchildren, Tori Hunt, Dalton Boissel, Riley Boissel, Blaine, Bella and Kobie Galloway, Leigha and Addison Cantrell. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 28th at Sharon Heights Baptist Church with burial at Oakland Cemetery. Rev. Ricky Thacker and Rev. Terry Trivette will be officiating. Visitation will be at the church on Wednesday one hour prior to service. Thank you to the Hospice Service of Alabama especially to the ones that took very good care of her, and to the Chaplin that came to see her. In lieu of flowers family request memorial contributions be made to your favorite charity or your church in remembrance of our Mother, this would be what she would have wanted.
