Darrell "Bodie" Edwards Keeton age 63, of Mt. Olive, AL went to be with Jesus on Sunday, June 21, 2020.

Darrell is preceded in death by his mom Sarah Keeton, sister Sharon Melcher.  He is survived by his father Simon Keeton, His wife Tammy Keeton, his daughters Sabrina Armistead (Christ), Clarissa Shelnutt (Kyle), Sierra Glossop, Baylee Glossop, his brother Randy Keeton (Leah), sisters Rita Hyche, Leanna, and Jennifer.  His grandbabies Trinity Armistead, Elijah Armistead, Gabe Shelnutt, Alivia Armistead, Madison Shelnutt.  Three sister-in-laws and two brother-in-laws, and a host of nieces and nephew.

Darrell worked at Southland tube (Nucor) for 30 years.  He was a very hard working man.  There wasn't anything he couldn't fix.  He would give you the shirt off his back.  He always tried to help someone out no matter what.  He was a wonderful husband and father.  He taught so many people so many things.  He always left his mark no matter where he was or whom he met.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 25th at Bell Forestdale Chapel with burial to follow at Midway Cemetery in Adamsville.  Visitation will be on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until time of service.  Pastor Jesse Carr will be officiating.
