David Lee Majerik, 62, Born January 17, 1953 in Pratt City - Passed away March 1, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents Pete & Elizabeth Majerik and brother Jim Majerik. He is survived by Patricia Carrell Majerik of Gardendale; daughters; Natalie Ann Maddox (John) of Fairhope; Catherine (Katie) Marie Leavins (Josh) of Fairhope; Carol Ann Spradlin (Jospeh) of Quinton, Al.; Leigh Ann Majerik of Gardendale, Al; Grandchildren; Noah & Josie Maddox; Elijah & Maddison Leavins; Leah Grace Spradlin. He is also survived by his brothers; Paul Majerick (Marie); John T. Majerik (Helen); Bernard Majerik (Theresa); Frank Majerik (Francis); and his sisters Annette M. Kitchen; Mary Buchan (Stuart); Margaret Moody (Steve); Patsy Byrd (Donnie) and sister-in-law Mary Anne Majerik; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. He was a graduate of John Carroll Catholic High School (1971). In retirement he enjoyed refinishing furniture, oil painting, studying the Bible, and spending time with his family. The family will receive friends Saturday, March 7th from 11am to 1pm with a celebration of David''s life following at 1:00 p.m. at Bell Funeral Home Forestdale Chapel.
