Della Mae "Nanny" Martin age 85 of Bayview, passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2015. She was a member an active member Bayview Baptist Church for 55 years. She is preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Martin, her parents and two sisters. She is survived by daughters, Connie Taylor (Lee), Annette Mixon (Mike), Lisa Bennett; sons, Marty Martin (Ramona), Alan Martin (Sherry); brother, Tom Walker; sister, Mary Anne Capps (GW); Carl Martin; fifteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was a loving Mother and Nanny, loved children and visitors, welcomed everyone to her home and took under her wing anyone who needed it. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, October 20th at 7:00 p.m. at Bell Forestdale Chapel with visitation from 5:00 p.m. until time of service. Rev. Charles Click will be officiating. Graveside Service will be on Wednesday, October 21st at 10:00 a.m. at Village Falls Cemetery. Bell Funeral Home Forestdale directing.
