Denisa Kay Trevarthen Yelen was born June 30, 1960 and departed this life on May 24, 2024. Denisa was a loving grandmother, mother, daughter, sister, cousin, and friend. She loved her family dearly and was generous, always looking for things to gift others. Denisa loved being outside and enjoying the sunshine on a porch swing. She loved her grandchildren, Mark and Logan, and always enjoyed their visits. It brought her great joy. Denisa enjoyed had-writing letters to peoples she loved often.

She is preceded in death by her four grandparents and her mother Jewel Jones.

Denisa is survived by her caregiver and steadfast father, Dennie Trevarthen, caregiver and loyal brother Tommy Trevarthen, daughter Ashley (and Kenneth) Rush, grandchildren Mark and Logan Rush, and numerous loved ones.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 1st at Bell Forestdale Chapel with burial to follow at Midway Cemetery.

Visitation will be One Hour Prior to Service on Saturday.
