Edith Lucile Herron age 100 of Springville, passed away on Dec. 5, 2018.  She was a Member of Forestdale Baptist Church and worked with Forestdale Baptist School for over thirty years.  She is preceded in death by her Parents; Brother, Pete Howton; Husband, Freeman Herron; Son, Jerry Lee Herron; Son-in-law, Ben Carter.  He is survived by her Daughter, Bobbie Carter; Daughter-in-law, Faye Herron; Sister-in-law, Louise Howton; Five Grandchildren, Thirteen Great Grandchildren, Four Great Great Grandchildren and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Other Relatives and Friends.Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 9th at Bell Forestdale Chapel with burial to follow at Liberty Cemetery (Alliance).  Visitation will be on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until time of Service.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Forestdale Baptist Church @ 1400 Brisbane Ave. Birmingham, Al  35214
