Eunice Jones Sanford of Hillview, died February 24, 2016 at age 88. She was born in Republic, Alabama October 10, 1927 to parents George Rufus "Bud" and Maude Echols Jones. Eunice was a member of Forestdale Baptist Church and retired from Social Security Payment Center in 1987.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jesse Doyle Sanford; daughter, Jan Topolski; sister, Mary Herrington (James); brother, John Sanders Jones; sister, Crecy Woodward (James); brother, Willis Jones (Mary); brother, Theran Jones (Polly); brother, Kenneth Jones.
She is survived by son, Ken Sanford (Sue); son-in-law, Phil Topolski; grandsons, David Sanford (Melissa), Derek Sanford (Caycyn), Timothy Sanford (Rebekah); great grandchildren, Abigail, Samuel, and Matthew; sister, Eolin Snyder (Joe); brother, Don Jones (Doris); As well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and good friends.
Visitation will be on Saturday, February 27th from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Bell Forestdale Chapel with burial to follow at Bivens Chapel Cemetery. Son, Ken Sanford officiating. Pall bearers will be Steve Jones, Ronny Jones, Doug Jones, Bobby Jones, Larry Mays, Johnny Baker, and David Monroe.
