GEORGE HENRY (SONNY) ROBBINS III, age 62, passed away on October 14, 2021.  Sonny was a member of Minor High School, Class of 1977.   He was  a member of the Minor High School Marching Band.  Sonny was a graduate of the University of Alabama in Birmingham, with Bachelor & Master Degrees.

Sonny was predeceased in death by his wife, Mary Ann Robbins, his grandparents, Dewey & Pearl Hancock and Mrs. Linnie Bryant.

He is survived by his mother, Mary Frances Hancock, his father, Buddy Robbins, 2 brothers, Russell Robbins and Kevin Robbins and 1 sister, Karen Spradling.  Several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 19th at Bell Forestdale Chapel with burial to follow at Elmwood Cemetery.  Rev. Joseph Comer officiating.  Visitation will be on Tuesday from 12:00 Noon until time of service.
