Ginger Summerlin Whitworth, age 76, of Graysville, passed away on Monday, November 17th, following a courageous battle with cancer.

Born on June 6, 1949, to Lee Roy and Mildred "Mit" Summerlin, Ginger brought joy, humor, and a loving spirit to everyone who knew her. She is survived by her devoted husband, Heath Whitworth; her sister, Cyndi Calhoun (Chuck); her children, Tameria Ewers (Ken) and Shane Gross (Jennifer); and her beloved grandchildren, Brett Gross, Paige Gross, Ben Ewers, Drew Ewers, and Jack Ewers.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee Roy and Mildred Ford Summerlin, as well as her siblings Lee Roy Summerlin II, Charlie "Pinky" Summerlin, Dixie Kuykendall, and Robert "Bob" Summerlin.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, November 24th, at Bells Funeral Home, located at 2077 Pratt Highway, Birmingham, AL 35214. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 10:00–11:00 a.m., with the service beginning at 11:00 a.m.
