Mrs. Hazel T. Collier, age 94 of Birmingham died Friday, Sept. 30, 2016 at her residence. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, Oct, 4, 2016 at Bell Forestdale Chapel with burial in Crestview Memorial Gardens. Bill Gardner and Mark Barber will officiate. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday at the funeral home.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Eugene Newman and Ruthie Pearl Downey Thomason; brothers, George and Vernon Thomason; and sisters, Mary Lou Williams and Nell Long.

Survivors include her husband, John D. "Jack" Collier; children: Donna Collier Snow (David), John H. Collier (Pamela), and Paula J. Collier, all of Birmingham; grandchildren, Mitch Moss (Michelle), Stephen Collier (Jennifer), Samuel Snow (Brittney), Kaitlyn Snow, Lauren Collier, and Andrew Snow; great grandchildren, Jacob Moss, Will Moss, Charlotte Collier and Rebecca Collier; sisters, Betty J. Parker and Billie Ruth Greene; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
