J. W. Hanvey's Obituary
J.W. Hanvey of Hillview, Alabama died peacefully at his daughter's home on Wednesday, October 17, 2018. He was 85 years old. Mr. Hanvey was preceded in death by his parents, Jason and Maybelle Hanvey; and his loving wife, Betty Franklin Hanvey. He is survived by his daughter, Cathy (Ben) Green; granddaughter, Dana McKinney; grandson, B. J. (Jessica) Green; great-grandchildren, Brooklyn McKinney, Tripp Green, and Viviann Green; sister, Geraldine Chappell; brother-in-law, E. R. Tolbert; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. The family would like to thank Mr. Hanvey's caregivers, Kristin Moseley, Brenda Johnson, and Tia Thomas for their support and care. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 21st at Bell Forestdale Chapel with burial to follow at Hillview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until time of service on Sunday.
