James Timothy Capps was born March 22, 1947 and departed this life on August 21, 2023. He served for 4 years in the U S Army in Vietnam and was awarded a Purple Heart. He is preceded in death by his Wife, Mary E. Capps; Son, Cory Capps; Brothers, Mark Capps, Randy Capps; Mother, Laura Lou Helms Capps and Father, James Alford Capps. He is survived by his Sister, Dawn & Roger Gill and Family; Daughter, Lori Capps; Grandson, Chase Capps; Stepchildren, Vicki (Greg) Whitley and Family, Sharon Tidwell, and Family and Eddie Painter. They were all loved.

Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 28th at Crestview Memorial Gardens. Dr. Bill Evans will be officiating. Bell Funeral Home Forestdale Directing.
