James Gordon Dixon passed away on Monday, Oct. 3, 2016. He is preceded in death by his Father, Donald Dixon. He was Retired from Jim Walter Resources at Adger, Al and a member of Sandusky United Methodist Church. He is survived by his Mother, Frances Dixon; Brother, Curtis Dixon (Dianne); Son, Corey Dixon (Kortney); Stepdaughters, Alyssa Sides (Stephen), Amanda Ballew (Brady); Grandchildren, James, Hadley, Destinee and Lynnlee. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 6th at Bell Forestdale Chapel with burial to follow at Elmwood Cemetery. Bro. Danny Hallman officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Sandusky United Methodist Church or the Birmingham Humane Society in his Memory. Bell Funeral Home Forestdale directing.
