James "Sonny" Dickerson age 86 of Graysville, AL passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, November 28, 2024. Funeral service will be Sunday, December 01, 2024 at Bell Forestdale Chapel at 3:00pm visitation will be one hour prior to service. Graveside service will be on Monday, December 02, 2024 at 11:00am at Midway Cemetery in Adamsville. Bro Mike Cox will be officiating.

Sonny is survived his son; Darryl Dickerson of Graysville, AL, daughter; Dianna Yarbrough of Jasper, AL, Peggy Long (Russell) of Quinton, AL, with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Sonny is preceded in death by his loving spouse of 51 years Bebe Shiflett Dickerson, daughter; Debbie Dickerson, parents; George and Margaret Dickerson, in-laws; Hugh and Nollie Shiflett, brother; John Wayne Dickerson.

Sonny was a U.S. Army Veteran and will be greatly missed.
