James "Jimmy" Holmes age 95 of Birmingham, passed away on Sunday, November 4, 2018.  He is preceded in death by his Wife, Nancy Sue Holmes.  He is survived by his Son, David W. Holmes (Jane) of Birmingham; Grandsons, Dustin Bradshaw of Pelham and Scott Perry (Michelle) of Corner; Granddaughters, Bridgette Holmes of Pulan, Ga., Suzanne York (Brad) of Jasper, Shana Powell (Derrick) of Sylvester, Ga. and Beth Grace (Tim) of Leeds; Eight Great Grandchildren.
At the request of Mr. Holmes there will be no service.  In lieu of flowers contributions in his honor can be made to Pleasant Grove Presbyterian Church.
