Jane Glidewell Barnes was born November 3, 1937 and departed this life on October 13, 2024. She was a member of Gardendale First Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by Parents, Emmett and Iola Glidewell and her Son, Greg Barnes.

She is survived by her Husband of 68 years, James H. Barnes; Son, Phillip Barnes (Lisa); Daughter, Janeen McCoy; Grandchildren, Nathan and Brian Barnes and Sister, Linda Sprouse (Wayne).

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 16th at Bell Forestdale Chapel with burial to follow at Crumly Chapel Cemetery. Bro. Mark Harrison will be officiating. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
