John Wayne Dickerson age 73 of Quinton, passed away on Friday, August 19, 2016. He was loved by family and friends from Graysville, he was a member of UMWA, Coal Truck Driver and later owned his own trucking business. His CB handle was Red Eye and he loved to restore Antique Cars. He is survived by his daughter, Wendy (Darwin) Echols; granddaughters, Amber Burgett, Darcy Echols; sister, Peggy (Russell) Long (children, Roxanne (Steven) Moon and their children (Brody, Abbey, Hannah); Dewayne (Tonya) Long and their son Cody Long; Brother, Sonny Dickerson and his children Darryl Dickerson and Dianna Yarborough. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 26th at Bell Forestdale Chapel with burial to follow at Midway Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday one hour prior to service.
