Joseph Lamar Buckelew age 75 of Bessemer passed away on Wednesday, September 10, 2014. He was a member of the Baptist Faith and served in the U. S. Navy. He is survived by his Devoted Wife of 55 years, Judy Buckelew; Son, Tim Buckelew (Susan); Daughter, Donna Pendley (Freddy); Grandchildren, Joshua Gant (Ashley), Jamie Brockman, Nick Buckelew, Kaleigh Parvin; Five Great-Grandchildren, Aleigh, Kaden, Karter, Averee and Kyler. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 13th at Bell Forestdale Chapel with burial to follow at Midway Cemetery. Rev. Charles Click will be officiating. Visitation will be on Saturday from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 p.m. Bell Funeral Home Forestdale directing.
