A much-loved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister, Juanita Smith Hendrix, 85, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2020 with her family present. She was born July 9, 1935 in West Jefferson, Alabama. Juanita was devoted to her family and if she knew you, you were considered family. She was truly an expert at loving others well and in return she was well loved.

She is survived by; daughter Denise Gale Hendrix of Birmingham; sons Ben Charles Hendrix (Deborah) of Birmingham, Tim Hendrix (Melissa) of Trussville, Ronald Luther Hendrix (Tanya) of Decatur; grandsons Brad Hendrix and Benjamin Hendrix; granddaughters Amanda (Hendrix) Fleming, Mallory (Hendrix) Maharrey, Morgan (Hendrix) Jaeger; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years Ben Charles Hendrix.

Graveside Service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Friday, August 14th at Freewill Cemetery (West Jefferson). Bro. Matt Griffin will be officiating.
