Kenneth Shane Long was born December 7, 1941 and passed away on July 2, 2023. He is preceded in death by his Wife, Margie Long; Granddaughter, Christy Long; Father, Kenova Long; Mother, Dorothy Long; Brothers, Gean Long, Orval Long and Darwin Long. He is survived by Sons, Bruce Long (Tammy) of West Jefferson, Joey Long of Birmingham, Rodney Long of Birmingham; Daughters, Angela Thomas (John) of Warrior, Alison Thompson (Scott) of Mt. Olive; Sisters, Daphne Faye Allen of Rising Fawn, Ga., Deborah Long of Rising Fawn, Ga.; Brother, Owen Long; Grandchildren, Courtney Tolbert, Shane Long, Madison Thomas, Bella Thompson; Great Grandsons, Easton Long and Jaysen Long.

Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 5th at Bell Funeral Home Forestdale Chapel.  Bro. Hollis Alexander will be officiating.Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
