DOUGLAS, MR. LARRY D. age 75 of Warrior, AL. passed away on May 24, 2013. he was preceded in death by his son Jonathan Blackwell Douglas and his parents Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Douglas. He is survived by his devote3d wife of 36 years Mrs. Jan Douglas and his loving daughter Anna Laura Cope (Cris); 2 Grandchildren: Jonathan Cope and Caroline Cope and his sisters, Dorothy Canady and Chiquita Self. Mr. Douglas was retired from U. S. Steel with several years of service. He attended Crumly Chapel United Methodist Church where he served as Chairman of the Finance Committee for several years and was President of the Mens Club as well as the Round Table Sunday School Class. He was also a past president of the Forestdale Jaycees and was a graduate of U.A.B. with a degree in engineering. Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, May 28th at Crumly Chapel United Methodist Church with burial in the adjoining Cemetery. Rev. Jaime Pangman and Rev. Lynn Dimon will be officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday at the church from 10:00 until 12:00.
