VERNON, LAVERA ESTELLE age 85 of Hueytown, passed away on Thursday, February 7, 2013. She was retired from Oak Knoll Nursing Home after many years of Service. She is survived by Her Daughter, Judy Hinton and (Special Friend J.D. Smith); Two Sons, Jimmy Contorupis (Mary), David Holley (Rhonda); One Sister, Marjorie Rait ; Four Grandchildren, Andrew, Lisa, Matthew, Lynnsey and Six Great-Grandchildren. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 11th at Bell Forestdale Chapel with burial to follow at Midway Cemetery. Rev. Guy Moore will be officiating. Visitation will be on Monday from 10:00 - 11:00. The Family would like to give a Special Thank You to the Staff at Oak Knoll Nursing Home for the Loving Care they provided during her time of need.
