Obituary

Lee A. Brake entered eternal rest on a Wednesday afternoon, September 20, 2023. She passed peacefully in her sleep after dozing off to her favorite T.V show at the too early age of 67. Lee A. Brake was born to parents Shay (Father) and Shirley (Mother), in Brookside Alabama on August 13, 1956. Lee A Brake called affectionally by all that knew her as Leeann, grew up, in Brookside Alabama, with her brother Eddie Crump. Later this is where she met her first husband Randy Brake. Leeann and Randy went on to have three children Jason, Jennifer, and April, to Leeann her children were her world. After her employment at McGriff Seibels and Williams for 25 years ended, Leeann went on to fulfill her life with her own work by selling items at Alabama's Farmers Market. Here is where Leeann earned her reputation for her exceptionally low prices, friendly demeanor, and ability to find obscurities. Leeann truly enjoyed her time at the market, she impacted many lives there in large and small ways making many acquaintances and to some she will always be known as the lady with the blue van. After her first husband Randy past in July 2014, Leeann found Leon Butler, who came into her life as a friend and in December of 2017. Leon and Leeann became inseparable as they moved in together in Adamsville. Leeann cared for Leon as the time progressed, through the past 7 years Leeann and Leon may have not seen eye to eye but their love for one another was undeniable and unstoppable.  Leeann is proceeded in death by her first Husband Randy, and her Father Shay. She is survived by her Mother Shirley, Brother Eddie,Husband Leon, her Son Jason Brake, herDaughters Jennifer Brooks and April Perry She also leaves behind her two son in-laws Harold Brooks and Daniel Perry, Her grand Children Legacy, Sadie, Bailey, Trent, Clay, and Ashton and great grandchildren Anna, Braedyn, Jaxsynn. Leeann leaves behind a legacy and an extensive family that will forever miss her.

There will be a Single Viewing time on Monday September 25, 2023, at Bell Funeral Home in Adamsville, AL from 5pm-7pm
