Leonard Bruce Hammonds age 65 of Bessemer, passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2015. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Leonard E. and Gladys M. Hammonds; Sisters, Jeanette Hill and Laura Saylor. He is survived by his Wife, Phyllis Hammonds; Daughters, Audrey (Richard) Weems, Annette (Phillip) Walters, Angela (Jeff) Essman; Son, Scotty Free; Sisters, Carol (Cleo) Garrett, Sandra (Sammy) Ferrington, Sharon (Fred) Caldwell; Brother, Tony (Anna) Hammonds; Eight Grandchildren ; Two Great-Grandchildren and a Host of Extended Family and Friends. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 23rd at Bell Forestdale Chapel with burial to follow at Davis Creek Baptist Church Cemetery (Brookwood, Al) .
