Linda Joyce Hood was born on March 6, 1941 and departed this life November 13, 2022. She was preceded in death by her Father, Arthur James Dees; Mother, Dorothy Irene Dees; Husband, Donald (Don) Tallmade Hood; Brother, Arthur (Buddy) James Dees, Jr. and Son, Richard (Ricky) Michael Thrasher.

She is survived by Daughter, Tracy Lynne (Thrasher) Downey & Spouse (Douglas Jackson Downey), Daughter, Tammy Elise (Thrasher) Quick & Spouse (Ricky Quick); Son, Jeffery Scott Thrasher; Granddaughter, Amanda Garrett, Grandson, Stephen Douglas Downey, Granddaughter, Jessica Lynne Downey, Granddaughter, Ashley Irene Quick, Grandson, Adam Richard Quick, Grandson, Charles (Chip) Dickinson Cicero, Grandson, Keith Thrasher, Granddaughter, Shaney Thrasher, Grandson, Corey Thrasher; Great Grandchildren, Joseph Brayden Freeman, Mealyn Faith Downey, Joshua Scott Williams, Amelia Grace Downey, Zoie Michelle Thomas, Brodie Downey; Ellie Kate Downey, Xender Phoenix Quick, Michael Aaron Quick and Izabella Elise Newton.

Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 18 ^th at Bell Forestdale Chapel with Bro. Hal Cain officiating. Burial will follow at Village Falls Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
