Lois Helen Lee age 84 of Southside, AL formerly of Pleasant Grove, AL passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2016, at her home in Southside surrounding by family and friends. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. She enjoyed reading and listening to Elvis.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 48 years Ocie Floyd Lee, Jr., her parents Ira & Eva Bobo, sister Lucille Bobo, brothers Deway, Fletcher, Arnold, Edison Bobo and William Schroeder. Grandson Jonathan Lee, Great Grandson Dylan Lee.
She is survived by daughters Kathy (Jerry) McElroy of Gardendale, Brenda (Larry) Carroll of Birmingham, Carol (Doyle) Mathis of Pleasant Grove, Becky Lee (Butch Fikes) of Center Point, Linda Bailey of Pinson, sons Jeffrey F. Lee of Southside and Gregory O.(Alice) Lee of Southside.
Eleven grandchildren Jennifer (Lisa) McElroy, Kristi (Adam) Monroe, Michelle (Tim) Dobrinski, Kenny (Amanda) Lee, Michael (Felicia) Lee, Nicole (Amber) Kilgore, Krystle and Jessica Bailey, Ashton (Bubba) Davis, Bryan and Eric Lee.
She is survived by 16 Great Grandchildren and also 2 loving cats Spooky and Sebastian.
We would like to thank Amedisy Hospice of Gadsden, and special thanks to her nurse's Hannah and Joy and her aide Brittney for all the love and support they shown our mom at this trying time and all the other staff at Amedisy Hospice.
Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 14th at Bell Forestdale Chapel with burial following at Village Falls Cemetery. Chaplin Bob Hundley will be officiating. Visitation will on Friday one hour prior to service.
