Knighten, Louis age 71 of Birmingham, passed away on Monday, March 17, 2014. He was a member of American Legion Post # 21 Chapter 255. He is survived by One daughter, Teresa Deerman (James); Two brothers, Thomas Knighten, Ben Jones; Two grandchildren, Michael Glaze, Ashley Glaze Campbell; One great-granddaughter, Keyleigh Glaze; also survived by several nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, March 20th at 2:00 p.m. at Alabama National Cemetery Montevallo. Visitation will be at Bell Forestdale Chapel on Wednesday, March 19th from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers family request memorial contributions be made to American Legion.
