Marilyn McDaniel Hullett 3/31/28 - 5/28/2015
Mairlyn was born on March 31, 1928 to Glumer & Velma McDaniel. She graduated from Hueytown High in 1946. Mairlyn married Charles in 1947, enjoying 58 years of life together until his death in 2005. She was a faithful wife, caring mom, loving grandmother/great grandmother and true friend. Truly a Proverbs 31 woman. Mairlyn is survived by daughters Donna (Gerald) Gober and Kay (John) Taylor; granddaughters Gretchen (Jason) Baker and their children Kyndal and Owen; Shannon (Art) Carden and their children Jacob, Taylor Grace and David; and Stacey (Chris) Browning. Also survived by sister Pat (Ron) Shadrick, niece Michelle (Sean) Ballard, and nephews Dennis (Suzie) Vines, Belton (Lynn) McDaniel, Brent Shadrick and their families. Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, May 31st at 3:00 p.m. at Westwood Baptist Church with burial to follow at Crestview Memorial Gardens. Rev. Steve Potts will be officiating. Visitation will be on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, please make memorials to her church, Westwood Baptist Church, 2349 Forestdale Blvd, Birmingham, AL 35214.
