TANNER, MARK age 58 of Mulga passed away Friday 10/12/2012 at his home .Mark was born April 13, 1954 in Jasper, AL to Ollie & Grace (Leanord) Tanner. He attended Corner High School and served in the National Guard. Prior to his retirement, he worked at SMI Steel and was plant manager for Kirkpatrick Concrete. He loved Alabama football, fishing, and hunting. He was an active member of Edgewater United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and granddaughter Tatum Cleaver. He is survived by his wife, Lyen; son Cody; daughter, Brandie(Max) Cleaver; grandchildren, Eli and Ava Cleaver; brother Ronnie (Olga); sisters, Pat (Hershel) Whitlow and Jerri (Gary) Glover; several nephews and many special friends. Funeral services: Edgewater United Methodist Church in Mulga, Monday, October 15, at 4pm Visitation: 2-4 at the church. Burial to follow at Village Falls Cemetery. Brother Richard Mize officiating.
