Franklin, Martha Jo Byram of Graysville, AL, passed away Friday, January 18, 2013 at the age of 75, Martha was born March 3, 1937 in Birmingham, Al. She graduated from Jones Valley High School. She was employed by the City of Graysville for 13 years as the Dispatcher for the Police and Fire Department. Martha is survived by her husband Wallace D. Franklin, Sr. to whom she was married for 57 years, her 3 children Wally Franklin (Jenny), Cindy Franklin Powell (Steve), Selena Franklin Harper (Ralph), her younger sisters Mary Anne Fowler and Sara Ruth Moon. She also leaves behind 10 grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eston and Lillie West Byram and brother Jimmy Byram. Visitation will be Monday, January 21st from 5:30 - 7:00 at Bell Forestdale Chapel with Funeral Service immediately following visitation at 7:00 p.m. Pastor Seven Martin will be officiating. Graveside Service will be at Crestview Memorial Gardens on Tuesday, January 22nd at 11:00 a.m. Bell Funeral Home Forestdale directing.
