Mr. Maxie D. Nixon age 76 of McCalla, passed away on Wednesday, November 21, 2018.  He is preceded in death by his Parents, Doyle and Helen Nixon and Sister, Learlie Busby.  He is survived by his Wife, Latha Wilson Nixon; Daughter, Katie Lynn Nixon; Son, Michael DeWayne Nixon (Lisa); Daughter, Karen M. Walden (Gary); Grandchildren, Gary Walden Jr. (Rebecca), Natalie Nixon, Joseph Nixon and Jon Zachary Nixon; Sister, Judy Cain and Brother, Winston Nixon (Susie).  Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 24 ^th at 11:30 a.m. at Hepzibah Baptist Church in the Lakeview Community.  Graveside Service will be held at 2:30 p.m. at Freewill Cemetery (West Jefferson).  Mike Bell will be officiating.  Visitation will be on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. time of service at Hepzibah Baptist Church.
