The community of Bayview lost it's beloved Granny, Nellie Ruth Carlisle on March 16 ^th at the age of 89.  Nell was born on January 22, 1930 to Clifton Owen and Ila Bailey.  She was one of 13 children.  She was a member of Mulga Baptist Church.  A loving mother, sister, grandmother and friend.  She is preceded in death by her husband, William Lawrence Carlisle, granddaughter, Natalie Paige Granade, and 2 son-in-laws, Mike Atkinson and Dennis Echols.  She is survived by her 7 daughters, Susan King (Randall), Nancy Echols, Carol Granade (Donnie), Sandra Eastis (James Paul), Elaine Tyler (Mike), Lynne Atkinson and LaNell Parmley; 2 great granddaughters raised by their granny, Lyndsay Johnson (Randy) and Taylor King (Sandy).  16 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Evelyn Smith, Bettye Lawrence;  brother, Harold Bailey (Daisy); Her best friend, Debbie Warren and a host of family and friends, many whom she enjoyed time with at the Sylvan Springs Senior Center.  Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, March 20 ^th at Bell Forestdale Chapel with burial to follow at Village Falls Cemetery. Bro. Charles Click and Bro. Crantford Hicks officiating. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 10:30 until time of service.  In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite charity.
