Nellie Peebles was born on May 14th, 1930 in Alabama. She was raised by her parents Alvie and Annie Myers, who were both deaf and couldn't speak.. She was the pillar of her family, friends, and church community. Nellie stated the best part of her life was being a mother, and she was a mother to many. Sunday dinners she never knew who was coming but she always had enough and everyone was welcome around her table. . She is loved by all who met her, and will always live in our hearts.

Nellie loved her flower garden and she worked in it until she became sick.

Nellie is survived by her children; Elaine, Bobby, and Henry Peebles. Her grandchildren; Jennifer Jones, Jason Jones, BJ Peebles, John Peebles, Michael Peebles, Jeremy Kelley, Kortney Kelley, and Jade Peebles, and her 13 great grandchildren.

Nellie is proceeded in death by her parents; Alvie and Annie Myers. Her Husband; Jack Peebles. Her Daughter; Mary Ann Kelley. Her grandson; Jake Peebles, and her granddaughter; Jodi Jones.

Funeral Services for Nellie will be Monday, August 3, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at the Bell Funeral Home Forestdale Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Bro. Wade Peoples will be officiating. Burial will be at Midway Cemetery in Adamsville, Al.
