Ricky Green was born on October 19, 1947 and departed this life on August 17, 2023. He was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church for 18 years, Birmingham Fireman for 34 years and managed Fireman Credit Union over 10 years; was in the Air Force was Airman of the year for Loring Air Force Base; Airman of the year for Strategic Air Force Command and Airman of the year for 8th Air Force. He is preceded in death by W. E. Green (father), Lenora Green (mother) and Harold Green (brother). He is survived by his Spouse of 56 years, Gloria Green; Son, Jeff Green (Mandi); Daughter, Amy Unruh (Brad); Grandchildren, Grant Green, Brady Green, Madison Unruh and Spencer Unruh; Brother, David (Jimmy) Green; Sister-in-law, Janet Clayton; Multiple nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 21st at Crossroads Baptist Church in Hayden with visitation from 12:30 p.m. until time of service. Bro. Michael Jones will be officiating. Burial will follow at Midway Cemetery in Adamsville.
